Our terms and conditions
1. Agreement and age eligibility
These Terms govern your use of Ashirimi, operated by Doowahmi, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. You must be at least 18 years old to use Ashirimi. By affirmatively accepting these Terms and the Community Guidelines, you agree to the service rules below. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account. Acceptance is not implied merely by the appearance of a preselected control; the initial agreement control is not prechecked.
2. Purpose and limits of the service
Ashirimi provides structured, one-peer-at-a-time emotional support and private reflection features. It is not a dating service, matchmaking service, romantic-discovery tool, sexual arrangement service, professional counseling, psychotherapy, medical service, legal service, crisis response, or emergency service. No peer is represented as a licensed professional merely by using Ashirimi.
3. Accounts and appropriate conduct
You agree to provide truthful information needed for account and adult-eligibility purposes, safeguard login credentials, comply with applicable law, and treat other members respectfully. You may not impersonate another person; harass, stalk, threaten, coerce, discriminate against, or exploit a peer; solicit dating, romance, sexual encounters, or offline meetings; expose another person's identifying information; circumvent blocks or safety controls; or interfere with the service. The Community Guidelines are incorporated into these Terms.
4. User content ownership and limited operational license
You retain ownership of content you lawfully create or submit, including profile text, messages, reflections, reports, and feedback. You grant Doowahmi, LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, format, transmit, display to intended recipients, examine where permitted for safety operations, moderate, restrict, and remove that content only as reasonably necessary to operate and secure Ashirimi; provide requested functions; investigate reports or security events; enforce these Terms and the Community Guidelines; keep limited technical copies and backups; and comply with legal obligations. This license does not authorize the sale of your private messages or reflections or their use for unrelated advertising. Private content does not become public merely because this limited operational license is granted. The license ends when the relevant content is deleted from active systems, except where limited copies or records are lawfully retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Safety enforcement and repeat violations
You represent that you have rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe others' privacy, intellectual-property, or other legal rights. Ashirimi may review reports and appropriately flagged activity, remove prohibited content, limit functionality, prevent contact, block accounts, suspend or terminate access, preserve relevant records where permitted, and take reasonable action to investigate suspected misuse. Serious violations—including threats, coercion, exploitation, trafficking-related conduct, sexual abuse of minors, or attempts to evade enforcement—may result in immediate account restrictions. Repeated or unresolved violations may result in permanent account removal. We may refer suspected unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities when required or permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every harmful interaction will be detected or prevented.
6. Peer messages, discretion and personal responsibility
Peer messages are intended for their recipients and are not public posts. A recipient may nevertheless retain, screenshot, or share information you voluntarily disclose. Use discretion in deciding what personal details to share. Information from peers reflects their individual experiences and views, not verified professional advice or recommendations endorsed by Doowahmi, LLC.
7. Free Version 1.0 on iOS and Android
Ashirimi iOS Version 1.0 and Android Version 1.0 are free. Neither version includes paid subscriptions, premium memberships, or in-app purchases. Both versions provide avatar-only profile display without personal or blurred profile photographs. If optional paid services are introduced in the future, the applicable price and purchase terms will be shown before a charge is made.
8. Account deletion and termination
You may stop using Ashirimi and request account deletion within the application or through Ashirimi.com. An email acknowledges receipt of the deletion request; it is not proof of completed erasure. Identity verification, processing, applicable retention exceptions, and deletion of backups or service-provider records are addressed in the Privacy Policy. Ashirimi may restrict or end access for safety, unlawful conduct, or material violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
9. Service availability and changes
Peer availability varies with participation, preferences, support needs, and system conditions. A suitable match, uninterrupted access, successful conversation, or specific personal outcome is not guaranteed. Ashirimi may update, restrict, suspend, or discontinue functions for reasonable maintenance, technical, security, safety, or legal reasons, subject to applicable law. Where reasonably practicable, notice will be provided of material changes affecting users.
10. No professional services or emergency response
Ashirimi is not a provider of medical care, mental-health diagnosis or treatment, licensed counseling, legal advice, crisis intervention, or emergency assistance. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, people experiencing a mental-health crisis may call or text 988 for crisis support.
11. Warranty disclaimer — subject to legal approval
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ashirimi is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Doowahmi, LLC does not guarantee error-free operation, uninterrupted access, particular peer availability, or any emotional or relationship result. To the extent lawful, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement are disclaimed. Nothing here removes a statutory guarantee or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be waived.
12. Limitation of liability — counsel approval required
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Doowahmi, LLC and its representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to Ashirimi to the extent such exclusions are enforceable. The proposed aggregate liability limit is the greater of US $100 or the amount paid for Ashirimi services during the 12 months preceding the claim, including any payment made through an authorized app marketplace. This proposed limit does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including applicable non-waivable consumer rights, intentional misconduct, fraud, or other categories protected by law. THIS PROVISION REQUIRES REVIEW AND APPROVAL BY FLORIDA COUNSEL BEFORE PUBLICATION.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent mandatory law requires otherwise. Nothing here deprives a consumer of non-waivable legal protections applicable to them.
14. Dispute resolution
We encourage users to contact support@ashirimi.com to seek informal resolution of concerns before starting formal proceedings, without requiring them to give up legal rights. Where informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Florida, subject to applicable jurisdictional, venue, and consumer-protection requirements. Nothing prevents eligible small-claims proceedings, regulatory complaints, or other non-waivable remedies. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
15. Severability
If a provision is held unlawful or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed only as necessary, and the remaining Terms will continue to operate to the extent permitted by law.
16. Changes and contact
